Commercial toilet repair – plumbing Hawthorn East
Tim from the Doherty Plumbing Solutions’ crew attended a call from one of our local high schools in Hawthorn East. The customer reported a constant water leak from the cistern into the pan in one of the school’s toilets.
When Tim inspected the area, he noticed an outlet valve in the cistern was broken. He replaced the faulty water valve with a brand new Duro type. To be sure, Tim also checked the flush cone seal and pan collar seal. The cistern was tested for leaks and it was back in working order.
Residential toilet repair – plumbing Malvern
In another call on the road, Doherty Plumbing Solutions’ plumbing professional George assisted a customer in Malvern. They had contacted us about their toilet leaking at the base.
George removed the leaking toilet to find its cistern bolts had perished. He cleaned out the cistern and replaced the pan rubber waste seal with a new one. To set the pan and cistern more securely, a new stainless-steel bolt was installed and silicone applied all around the toilet’s base.
Problem solved!
Home renovation – plumbing Canterbury
Our team loves a well-planned plumbing renovation job!
We recently assisted a customer in Canterbury with the fitting of two Caroma toilet suites in their residence.
We got to work immediately on the upgrades.
The existing toilets were removed from the bathroom and disposed of at tip. The two new toilet fixtures supplied by the owner were secured in position and new seals were fitted to the waste pipe. The water supply was connected to the new pans and tested – all were working perfectly!
We also issued the customer with a Certificate of Compliance after the work was completed.
